There’s a big cruise ship coming to Galveston. It’s so big, that Galveston now has a new cruise terminal to accommodate it. The Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas will begin sailing from Galveston in November of this year and will dock at the new Terminal 3, which is located in the eastern portion of the Port of Galveston.
Carnival Dream departs Galveston, Texas October 22, 2022 for a 14-night round-trip Panama Canal cruise. Although the Carnival Dream will not be crossing through the Panama Canal for this cruise, it does spend a day in Colon, where you can take an optional Panama Canal excursion.
Ports of call for this cruise include Aruba, Curacao, Cartagena, Colon, Limon, and Cozumel.
The Bahamas is a popular cruise destination and you can cruise there from Texas with an eight-night cruise aboard the Carnival Dream. This cruise has ports of call in Key West, Florida plus Freeport, Nassau, and Half Moon Cay in The Bahamas. [The December 23rd cruise is listed as going to Princess Cays rather than Half Moon Cay. Both are private island resorts owned by the Carnival Corporation.]
