Disney’s Very Merrytime cruises are a popular holiday season vacation choice.

Disney Wonder

First setting sail in 1999, Disney Wonder is one of the original Disney Cruise Line ships, but it’s still given high ratings by both customers and various cruise ship critics. Disney Wonder ahs maximum passenger capacity of 2,700, versus the 4,000 passenger capacity of the newer Disney ships.

Entertainment on board the Disney Wonder includes Broadway-style shows, first-run movies, Disney character appearances, and fireworks at sea.

Special onboard clubs for are available to keep the kids entertained while the adults enjoy relaxing at Senses Spa and Salon or a dancing a Azure. The AquaLab water slides, Goofy’s Pool, and Wide World of Sports Deck offer fun for the whole family.

Disney Wonder sails 4-Night Western Caribbean cruises from Galveston to Mexico through the end of January, 2022.

Disney Magic

Disney Magic is Disney’s first cruise ship. Magic was originally launched in 1998 but has been renovated a few times since then, adding updates such as water slides and new dining and entertainment options.

Magic has capacity for 2,700 passengers, making it significantly smaller than the newer ships in the Disney fleet, which can carry 4,000 passengers.

Dining options range from the family-friendly Animator’s Palate, with a Disney Character dinner show to Northern Italian cuisine at the adults-only Palo.

Disney Magic entertainment offerings include live Broadway-style shows in the Walt Disney Theatre and first-run Disney movies in the Buena Vista Theatre.

Disney Magic sails 4, 5, 6 & 7-night Western Caribbean cruises from Galveston to Mexico, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica November, 2022 through February, 2023.
