Mexico remains a popular destination for cruises from Galveston, and with good reason – Cozumel and Costa Maya, Mexico are beautiful vacation spots and cruise ships can get there from Galveston in one cruising day. Four-night cruises to Mexico usually have one day at sea, a day at Cozumel, and another at sea day before arriving back in Galveston. Five-night cruises often add a day in Costa Maya, Mexico. Seven-night cruises often add ports of call in nearby Honduras and Belize. Princess Cruises To Sail from Galveston

Princess Cruises has announced that the Ruby Princess will homeport in Galveston, Texas from December 2022 to April 2023. The Ruby Princess will sail 5 to 11 day cruises from Galveston to the Western Caribbean. Two 16-day Galveston to San Francisco Panama Canal cruises will also be available.

The Princess cruises from Galveston will go on sale April 7, 2022.

Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas Starts Sailing from Texas November 13, 2022

Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas will home port in Galveston, Texas beginning in mid-November of this year. Allure of the Seas will dock at Royal Caribbean’s new Galveston cruise terminal.

The standard itinerary for Allure will be a seven-night Western Caribbean cruise to Roatan, Honduras; Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico; and Cozumel, Mexico, with the first departure scheduled for November 13th, 2022.

The Allure of the Seas is packed with onboard activities and dining options, plus a variety of cabin types, including RCL’s Royal Suites Class accommodations.
