The Carnival Breeze, Carnival Cruise Line’s newest cruise ship, will begin sailing from Galveston May 8, 2016. The Breeze will take Carnival Magic’s spot in the Galveston cruise ship line-up after the Magic shifts to Port Canaveral, Florida in April.
The Breeze was launched in 2012. The ship has capacity for 3,690 guests. Onboard activities include WaterWorks slides, Punchliner Comedy Club, Serenity Adults-Only Retreat, and Seuss at Sea programming for the kids. Dining options include Guy’s Burger Joint (as in Guy Fieri of TV’s Diners, Drive-in, and Dives), Cucina del Capitano Italian restaurant, Mexican fare at BlueIguana Cantina, Bonsai Sushi, a steakhouse, a pizza restaurant, causal dining at Lido Restaurant, main dining room dining, and special brunches on sea days.
The Carnival Breeze will have a regular schedule of seven-night Western and Eastern Caribbean cruises from Galveston.
