Carnival Cruise Line recently announced that they have partnered with the NFL Houston Texans football team and will now be billed as the team’s official cruise line.

Team members will help celebrate the arrival of the Carnival Breeze to the Port of Galveston on May 8th.  The 8th is Mother’s Day and a “Mom’s Dash to the Splash” event has been planned that pairs moms (selected via an online contest) with the players for a race down the ship’s Twister and Drainpipe water slides. The winning team will receive $10,000 for charity and the second place team receives $5,000 for charity.

The Carnival Breeze is replacing the Carnival Magic in the Galveston cruise line-up.  The Magic recently shifted to Port Canaveral, Florida. The Breeze will sail weekly 7-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
